Principle of Trainability

Trainability refers to the capacity to adjust instantly and precisely in any situation. It reflects an advanced degree of openness, pliability, and a willingness to learn from failure.

In beginning any enterprise the first question you will want to ask about a comrade is: is he or she trainable? -- which is another way of finding out will he learn, can she discover how things work?

If you want to verify who is untrainable notice who needs to be right all the time, does all the talking, knows everything, rarely listens, assumes this, expects that -- and deep down is terrified of failing. This is the first person who will be compromised by a resourceful adversary. The untrained party will bleed away sensitive information about your organization and will plant disinformation strategically in the minds of your colleagues and your staff -- and the untrained party will be utterly unaware of his (her) betrayal -- may even think they are serving you -- and if you do not pay close attention from the very beginning, you will fall asleep as well.
